CSA Program

Why a CSa is right for you

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs are a win-win for farmers and community members. By joining our CSA, you’re not just subscribing to a weekly box of fresh produce—you’re contributing to a healthy, resilient and connected local food system.

1. Directly Supporting Regenerative Farms and farmers

When you join our CSA, you’re providing our farm with direct support at the start of the growing season, this helps us plan and to prioritize sustainable and regenerative farming practices throughout the year. Unlike buying from a grocery store, where middlemen take a cut, your CSA membership dollars go directly to support the farm and the people who are growing your food. This direct relationship helps small, local farms like ours thrive in a competitive agricultural market and maintain only the best practices in growing your food.

2. Sharing in the Risks and Rewards of Farming

Farming is unpredictable—weather, pests, and other challenges can impact crop yields. By joining a CSA, you share both the risks and rewards of the harvest with your farmers. In a good season, you might get an abundance of your favorite vegetables; in a tougher season, you’ll still receive fresh produce but might see different varieties based on what grew best. This shared responsibility fosters a deeper connection between the farm and its members, creating a sense of solidarity and mutual support.

3. Fresh, Seasonal, and Local Produce

As a CSA member you receive produce that is harvested at peak freshness, often just hours or days before it reaches your hands. This means you’re getting the freshest possible food, packed with nutrients and flavor. Additionally, you get to eat local and seasonal, in South Florida this means our main growing season is in the winter and we grow many unique things to our region such as Yucca, String Beans and Turmeric . This seasonal eating rhythm can bring a sense of balance and mindfulness to your diet, and a deep connection to your region. This not only benefits your health but also reduces the environmental impact of long-distance food transportation.

4. Building Community and Relationships

In joining our CSA you become part of our community. We invite you to join us for events, workshops, volunteer days, and farm tours where members can meet each other and the farmers. These gatherings are a chance to share recipes, learn about sustainable agriculture, and make new friends who value local food as much as you do. By participating in these events, you’re helping to build a stronger, more resilient community.

ADD ON A Farm Fresh Egg Share

The free ranging hens currently live in our pines forest. We raise the chicks and give them good food and supplements like oregano, pepper flakes, apple cider vinegar, diatomaceous earth, garlic that keep them thriving. The chickens also receive fruit scraps from Centner Academy School and Fertile Earth Worm Farm. The chickens are free to find bugs, weeds and grasses to eat in the forest.

Most conventional egg operations give their hens GMO feed with corn and soy that increase the Omega 6 fatty acids in most eggs. At R8 we feed them GMO free feed that does not include corn or soy.

  • Nearly everything in your box will come from Regener8 Farm, we are a highly diversified farm with various growing modalities including soil farming, aquaponics, hydroponics, fruit orchards, chickens and bee operations and more to come. As these different operations ramp up you will see more of these items popping up in your boxes. On occasion we may source from other local producers that also grow food regeneratively.

  • Since we are a brand new farm we are still working on getting our organic certification but we use beyond organic Regenerative practices in our farm. Meaning no chemicals ever and full attention to regenerating the soil, making it healthy and capable of producing high quality, nutrient dense food while simultaneously improving the land.

  • Each week we will be selecting from our fields to bring a variety of vegetables including:

    • Greens (Lettuce Mix, Kale, Lettuce Gems, Arugula, Bok Choi, etc.)

    • Roots (Carrots, Beets, Radishes, etc.)

    • Fruits (Squash, Zucchini, Cauliflower, etc.)

    • Herbs (Mint, Parsley, Oregano, Onions, Scallions, etc.)

Depending on how fond your family is of eating vegetables and how often you cook at home the boxes can feed a family of 3-4 for a week. Although it is not meant to replace your weekly shopping all together it will give a unique experience of freshness and nutrient packed choices. Part of the excitement of participating in a CSA is that your will experience new vegetables that you may never have tried before. Throughout the seasons different vegetables will become available.

  • All of our produce is hand-picked and minimally processed—straight from the soil so we do recommend washing your produce before preparing it. Our baby greens are washed and can be eaten.

  • Weekly deliveries will be available at both school campuses. Your family will be assigned a number and we will assist in getting your box to you during the pick up line or during after school activities pick ups.

Visit our online store to see available pickup locations >>

  • We will hold your CSA box for 24 hours if you cannot pick it up please let us know and we will donate it to one of the staff at the school. Since we are cooking all the food on site this year we do not have room to store boxes in the our walk in cooler.

  • Yes! You will have opportunities to visit the farm as a volunteer or during special events and tours throughout the year. Part of what makes the experience of having a CSA special is your direct experience and connection to the farm so we encourage you to visit and see where and how your food is grown!
